Lennonheads? We have been in business since 1990, and following a partnership change in 2000, decided to hold a contest to rename the salon. Most of the names were very serious and typical salon monikers. But in the spirit of brainstorming, ALL names went on the board-even the not-so-serious. Every time I read through the list, "Lennonheads" made me smile. In business today, you have to differentiate yourself from the masses. We do great hair. We do great customer service. But mostly, we have a lot of fun with our guests and with each other. You'll know it the minute you enter our doorway. We look forward to knowing you.
Lennonheads Worthington: Our flagship salon, the mother load, the reason we got to open our newest location in the Polaris Mall. This team is made up of the very old (In our business that means they've been on the job 10 years or more) and the next generation. After you've been a guest for awhile in Worthington you will come to recognize a few names: Pattie (18 years), Taffy (11 years), Cheryl (10 years), Melissa and Heather (7 years), as well as a whole new group reaching the five-year mark. It is because of these people that the business thrives, and that the young grow. I love these people. You will too and I'm not sure if they know it yet, but they can never leave. It wouldn't be the same.

Lennonheads at Polaris: This is considered our "New Talent" salon. While we have a few veterans at this location to lead and teach, mostly this team has been around less than two years. But make no mistake: they have had the best of our training and there is an unmistakable buzz in this salon. They are a group of new, excited, and energetic learners who can't wait to meet you. Here's my disclaimer, Warning, Red AlertÉ
10 years ago our employee handbook stated "no tattoos," "no facial piercings." Those were scary people that I'm pretty sure rode Harley's. Kidding. Today if you don't see tattoos and nose rings you're missing some of the most creative, kindest and intelligent people in our industry. I don't know about the Harley's, but I do know that most are vegans, gardeners, environmentally conscious and some even knit. And while most of that isn't so much scary (well except maybe the knitting) it does make it difficult to feed them at a team meeting. You're going to love this group too. They make you feel young and that anything's possible.
